Chairwork with Individuals with Eating Disorders

Chairwork uses chairs, action, and here-and-now dialogue to work with 'parts' of the self. Used by therapists for over 100 years, many regard it as one of the most powerful and exciting ways of working.

In this course, you will learn how chairwork can enhance your work with individuals with eating disorders. The training incorporates step-by-step guidance, 'live' demonstrations of chairwork, and interactive exercises so you feel confident using chairwork right away.

You will find the methods covered in this course are easily incorporated into popular treatments for eating disorders, including CBT-ED, MANTRA, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, and Intergrative Therapy.

The course also includes Q&A from therapists working with individuals with eating disorders who attended the live workshop.

The course provides approximately eight hours CPD and access is provided for six months. Certificates are available on request (please email: [email protected]).
